RB - 85L MOUTH CONCRETE APPLICATION

• It is used as mouth repair material in induction furnaces where acidic and neutral lining is used.
• After the first furnace liner is beaten, the template is left empty up to 6-8 cm below the hearth.
• When the melting in the furnace reaches 1/3 of the total level of liquid metal, mouth concrete is applied.
• Add 3% water to a part of RB-85L furnace mouth concrete in a clean container. It has a dark consistency.
• 8% water is added to some of them. It becomes watery consistency.
• The fireplaces concrete prepared in a dark consistency is filled on the primer.
• The furnace casting trough is placed.
• Liquid mouth material is poured over the thick cooker mouth material
• A smooth mouth form is created with a wooden trowel or a suitable apparatus.
• Shaping is completed as soon as possible, as the furnace mouth concrete hardens within 5-10 minutes after application.
• In intermediate furnace concrete applications, the old furnace mouth is completely cleaned.
• Pit concrete is mixed with clean water.
• Different from the first application, the mouth form of the hearth is shaped by filling the material around a circle with a height of 15-20 cm in the diameter of the hearth mouth.
• This sheet metal can get mixed in the bath
• Hearth mouth concrete prepared in a dark consistency is filled on the primer.
• The furnace casting trough is placed.
